What's it called?
I need to stop a leak between the tranny and xfer case of my 72 Blazer. It's a th350 tranny (I think) with a 205 xfer case (again I think). What do I need to tell the parts guy I need?

Re: What's it called?
Since you will have the tcase on the ground...the adapter has two seals inside it to seal the trans from the xfer. Being a gen1 K5...assuming things haven't been swapped around the coupler will have a large bearing on it...the seals point inwards. Make sure the coupler splines are not worn out. You'll need a rubber square cut oring that seals the back of the th350 to the adapter...and if you do the coupler seals which i highly recommend...you'll also need the paper gasket that mounts the xfer to the adapter...so that would be a total of 4 seals to do it right.
