Steel Bed Floor To Wood Bed Floor Conversion ?
I did a search and did not find anything on this...
Has anyone done a wood conversion to their steel floor in the bed? I have a dilema....my steel bed is pretty much FUBAR. I do not want to spend a year trying to repair all of the bumps and dents on the thing. I am going for the very clean daily driver look, but I want a nice bed floor. I would rather not use a bed liner, plastic or spray-on. My three options are: replace the steel floor with a new aftermarket floor that will probably not fit right - fix the steel floor - replace the steel floor with a wood floor (which I think is the way I want to go) Anyone with conversion pictures (that can post them) would be thanked. Please help me ![]() Mike |

Re: Steel Bed Floor To Wood Bed Floor Conversion ?
Mar-K supplys the front bed pannel cross sills and rear cross sill needed to switch to a wood floor I bought the front bed pannel and found NOS sills. The front bed pannel fit awesome no tweeking was required. The stainless strips were also a great fit. They have instructions on how to convert you steel floor to wood.
