I have transmiision fluid dripping from my speedo cable right where it connects to the transmission. It is a new cable. Is there an o-ring or something that I can replace where the speedo connection is on the transmission? There is a bolt and bracket holding iin a ratio gear (i assume), but the piece seems to move easily. Any ideas?

Re: Leak around Speedo Cable Connection
Experienced the very same problem and it was caused by the O-Ring that had become distorted. New O-Ring installed and the problem was solved. It may well be that the O-Ring on your drive assembly is missing or distorted. Hope this helps...
