I just received my Autometer Sport Comp 3-3/8" in-dash tach. How hard is it to install in the factory dash? Is the stock printed circuit going to have enough slack to go over the rear of the new tach or do I need to buy a circuit for a tach dash? Any other pointers? I know there was a thread on this, but can't find it now.

If you go through the front you may have enought slack. If you go through the rear (mount behind the lense) you will not have enough slack.
You may have to modify a printed circuit to work. Here is a picture of a regular printed circuit that I modfied to work with a tach, you could do the same thing. It's pretty ghetto though!!

I put an AutoMeter in mine. It was pretty easy.

you can cut the glass back enough to mount it more to the
front or buy the tach circut.

I guess you can install it from the back with the factory non-tach printed circuit.
