Question blazer body swap need help

Will a 71 or 72 blazer body fit on an 85 blazer chassis? Are there any problems to look for? I can get an 85 blazer that has a bad body and my nephew has a couple of 71 or 72 blazer bodies and was wondering if they would work.

Re: blazer body swap need help

The wheelbase of the 69-72 is shorter than the 73-87, so you would have to to do some mods for it to work. Might be worth it to find another frame. Good luck.

69-72 blazer wheelbase is 104", a 73-up blazer wheelbase is 106.5"...
