Re: WooHoo!! Score!!
Thanks for the great comments guys..
I am thinking a 68 nose with a cowl hood.. late model Chev leather seats.. digital dash.. and a blower... well maybe not the blower... Pop's72.. After a few changes it will be my driver instead of my 68 GMC 4X4.. bouncytruck.. Chris.. congrats on having your Blazer going away.. feel free to have the new owner contact me.. Tell you mom and dad hi for me and congrats on their retirement.. I spent quite a bit of time trying to put together a deal to buy their store.. In the end it was a good thing it did not work out as the lady I was intending for a partner is now my "former girlfriend" lazygaurd.. Darrell.. I will just use my 3/4 4X4 to pull my car trailer when needed.. I will keep your frame in mind.. ya never know.. I have been working on the 72 GMC 3/4 4X4.. to get ready to sell.. been welding in the floor pans and supports.. and have the Subarbans firewall ready to paint and put the big block back in... red71cheyenne.. Jeff stop on over and I'll take ya for a tire smoking ride.. hehe Livrat |

Re: WooHoo!! Score!!
My apology for that, wasn't my intention. I haven't even bothered to list it for sale at this point.

Re: WooHoo!! Score!!
Indeed, great score there...lol, makes me wish I woulda gone and looked at it, I want a white (or black) one ....heh
As far as changes are concerned, I'd get a stock cowl, but I believe that chrome cowl sells for north of $400 brand new if I remember right, so sell it don't trade it. And find some stock interior for it, reg buckets and console, I believe he told me they were outta a mini van or somethin. There are still some buckets/console/rear seat out of a 71' jimmy/blazer for sale on craigslist, think he wants $400 for them or trade for other parts. And as for the air cleaner, I'd either get a billet specialties large oval, replace everything and get your 6-71 blower (but only if it winds up fitting under that beautiful louvered hood!), or both.

Re: WooHoo!! Score!!
Sure looks sweet to me. Gotta agree on the cowl - it will look better on some else's ride. I bet that really hauls a$$.
