Re: Parting out 83 Chevy Longbed

Would you happen to have the wiper motor in good working condition? Mine works on my '84, but on high it takes quite a few seconds to sweep the windshield, so it won't pass inspection. In otherwords, mine is REALLLLLLLY SLOOOOOW. LOL Anyway, if you have it, how much shipped to zip code 63351? Thanks.

Hey Disturbed,

I don't know if you started parting out the bed yet. If you haven't, go for it. I'll have to pass. I scored a free 79 chevy with a long bed this weekend. Besides I got a bigger problem. I have to replace a engine since my got craked during the freeze this past Nov.

Hey Distrurbed, I'm just down the road from you. How much for the bed, and what condition is it in? How is the tail gate?

Oh yeah do you have a bumper with? I'm looking for a smooth.

The bed has some dents in it. There are pictures earlier in this thread of them. I already sold the tailgate. I dont have a factory rear bumper. If I did it would be on my other 84. Im asking 300.00 for the bed or some 67 truck parts. Pm me on those.

No I dont have any door stops for the truck.

On another note the bolts are carriage bolts but the square part is longer then a normal bolt.
