There are no stupid questions right ???
I am putting a 68 front clip on my 72 2wd Blazer, other than the obvious
changing of the Grill, Fenders, Hood, and Rad support, what else will I be required to have? Will a 67-70 bumper just mount up to my 72 brackets? What year Rad support bushings do I need to get? I assume the cowl is the same, and the hood hinges, but what else am I forgeting about? ![]()

Re: There are no stupid questions right ???
You'll need 67-70 outer bumper brackets. They're shorter.
You'll need 67-68 radiator support bushings. They're thinner. |

Re: There are no stupid questions right ???
me and yellow69 traded outer bumper brackets when he went to a 71-72 style which i had and i got his older style for my 67-70 bumper.
the 71-72's are longer or something to avoid contact with the lights in the bumper. i don't think 4X4 versions will work. Last edited by matthufham; 02-02-2006 at 08:35 PM. |

Re: There are no stupid questions right ???
matthufham beat me to it. You will have to grab the outer bumper brackets. Are you doing this swap before Maggie Valley or at it?

I'll look around here for some bumper brackets for you.
