what color

i am rebuilding my old what i was told 305, but like i posted before it turned out to be a 350, it is for my 82 so the original motors color was blue, i plan on having it back at daily driver capable status hopefully at the end of next month, i want to know what color yall think i should paint it, some of the plans for it are well: it is already bored .060 over, and the crank is turned .020, i am going to take the crank to get polished, i am looking for a set of smaller than 76 cc combustion chamber heads, am going to get a edelbrock performer intake, reuse the 600 cfm performer carb, and get a xtreme energy 4x4 cam the x4254 grind, and get some springs, i am thinking chevy orange again, or grabber green

Re: what color

Paint it a complimentary but opposite colour so it stands out against the body paint. If you're truck is red, paint it dark. If it's blue or black paint it a lighter colour.

Orange usually looks good. I've got orange in blue, black in what was white now is black and blue in orange. Soon to have black in blue and blood on me.

Peace

Re: what color

Here is mine that I painted corp blue.....

I think it looks cleaner too if you paint it before putting on the heads and stuff, leaves the bolts there color and adds some contrast....
