up in Ol' ALBERTA
I'm currently trying to find my ideal truck. I have the engine, but now I need the truck. The engine is a 62' 261 straight six, purrs like a kitten.
Now all I need is to find that '54 chev with 5 window cab to put it in. I've been searching on and off for about 3 yrs, but I'm getting more serious about it now. I would like to find 1 or 2 54's and do a ground up restro on it. If anyone has any info on where I could find one, just let me know. I'll also consider a 5 window GMC, but chevy is perferred. Hope to be hearing from you soon al |

Re: up in Ol' ALBERTA
Welcome from West Tennessee. A 54 5 window is going to be hard to find. But if one is out there you're at the right place to find it. Unusual choice of engine and truck. You will sure stand out in a crowd. Good luck on your project.

Re: up in Ol' ALBERTA
Just about every second farmyard you go by in saskatchewan there is a 5 truck, problem is they are all rotted away in the bottom end.
