drum 2 disk conversion
OK, so I'm entertaining the idea of taking the disk/drum set up from my wrecked '72-1/2 and installing it on a '68-1/2. the main reason is for the disk brakes up front.
1) Up front, can i just pull everything from the A-arms to the brakes off of the 72, and bolt them up to the '68? 2) If question #1 works, I don't want 5 lug up front & 6 lug out back... So, if both axles are 12-bolts, can I pull the axle shafts out of the '72 and install them in the '68? The '72 is leaf, and the '68 is coil... |

Re: drum 2 disk conversion
The rear 72 axle is 3/4" wider than the 68 i had to fab up some spacer to make every thing line up brake wise.
