Good for you. There is always one or 2 of them around. A buddy had a booth and a Holley carb marked at $25. This guy started hounding me(while my buddy went to the can or coffee or something) that to sell it for $5.00. Went away for awhile and then came back and started in again for $5.00. I finally took the tag off and put a $50.00 price on it. He then started to tell me I couldn't do that. I then told him wasn't welcome anymore. Finally left only to reappear the next day.

i try to bargain with stuff and trade but offerin $5 for a carb when its marked $25 is an insult to the seller in my book, unless in just plain junk. chris.

its a work in progess. 71 c-10 lwb, in the middle of frame off restoration. 69 c-10 swb, drag truck, 406 sbc, balanced, comp 292 cam, ported, polished, gasket matched, and bowl blended pro comp 210cc heads, 2.02/1.60 ferrea valves,1.6 roller rockers, re curved hei with msd 6al box, 2-step rev limter, accel 300+ wires, ported victor jr intake, holley 750 double pumper carb, dynomax 1 5/8 headers, 4 spd munci m-20 with super case and iron midplate, mr. gasket vertigate shifter, 5.38 pro gears with full spool, 33 spline moser axles and c-clip elimators, line-loc, 5 gal fuel cell, holley blue pump.   7.807 @ 88.37mph 1.60 60FT 80 g-20 van, tow rig, cammed 305, th350, 10 bolt 88 jeep wrangler, dd, 258, ax-15 swap, 4.5" lift, 33x12.50's, lockers, 3.55's |

Having to deal with that kind of people is why I've never tried doing a swap meet thing. Sounds like he got the message about it. Congratulations on your recent bed purchase. The way it went down I saved $50 and don't have to handle it. That's the way I like things to happen, everybody happy and save a buck or two.

 best of luck on your project MikeChris I am begging off on Saturday hoping I can sneek down so far nobody seems interested in cutting loose a saturday so i will probably be stuck at work Mike
