Re-do headliner?
The headliner and all the trim was removed from my truck before i bought it.
I got a complete headliner and all the trim from the floor up the A-pillar all the way back to the rear window (in good shape) for $40 today. I'll need to dye the trim but is in nice shape. The fabric was all sagged on the headliner it fell off as I was taking it out. I would like to redo it with the perforated vinyl like LMC Sells , any clue on where I can get the material?? Also any good Ideas on how to remove the remainder of the foam backing from the fabric? It's pretty brittle and comes off easily when rubbed with a finger.

That board has fiberglass in it so be careful and wear gloves and long sleeves when working with it, else you be all prickly and itchy. I used a wire brush to get all the old foam off and used 3M adhesive spray. A fabic store might carry the vinyl your looking for. I got some newer style cloth fabric for 6 bucks.

Re: Re-do headliner?
Try SMS Headliners. Their email is Customheadliners@bellsouth.net
I ran across them on ebay a few years back and have purchased several headliners from them. They also sell seat material and most other automotive interior products. |
