2nd Gen. RX7 R&P...
Hey guys,
I just scored a 2nd Gen. RX7 power rack and pinion and was wondering if it would work on my 64? I didn't know what it was off of til I got it home. It was brand new and didn't cost me anything so I figured either way it was worth finding out if it would work. Is it going to be too small or do you guys think I can get it to work? Thanks Keith |

Re: 2nd Gen. RX7 R&P...
Reguardless of whatever else it may take to make it physically fit in the truck, the most important factor is the length of the main unit (where the inner tie-rods connect) The pivot point of the inner tie-rods must be the same width as the distance between the ball-joint holes on the center link (the rod between the steering arm and the idler arm). If they are not the same you will have bump-steer problems (odd handling)

Thanks LongHair!
I havent measured yet cause I have decided it is not going to be strong enough, but I know it is VERY close just by looking so I will check it out just for the hell of it. Keith |
