Is this 3+3 cab worth saving?
In my search for front end sheet metal for my 79 I came across a 76 Crew cab with no motor and trans. Guy has it on ebay and I have been exchanging emails with him.
I have plans to build a 2WD Short Bed Crew Cab truck with 1/2 suspension so my immediate thought was maybe some front end parts for the 79 and a jump on the next truck project, mainly a crew cab and a frame. What really bothers me is the rust through on the top of the passenger side door jambs. I could clean it up but, it's gotten inside and will reappear eventually I am sure. His opening bid is$200 and then I gotta get it hauled 135 miles. I haven't seen it in person yet just pictures, looks like I might get a decent hood and right fender but, mine are slavageable and just have surface rust. What do you think? deal or pass and move on to the next one?

I'd pass on it. I bet the rockers are bad too.
