Question on rear coil spring install

This is probably a simple question, but I bought 6" lowered coil springs for the rear of my 71 C-10 and I took both the stock ones off and I can't remember which way the flat part at the top and bottom went. Does it face the front or back? I want to make sure I get them seated correctly. Thanks

Re: Question on rear coil spring install

I didn't think it matters. Be sure to post pics after it's lowered!

Re: Question on rear coil spring install

Doesn't matter, just make sure the spring end fits into the matching divit in the bottom plate.
