Re: Carpet Group Purchase
Carpet is pre-molded, but it does not have the cutouts for seat bolts, seat belt studs, and that sort of stuff. It's up to the buyer/installer to cut those holes, but they're very easy to cut. You can feel seat studs through the carpet when you lay it down, and you just slit it with a razor, and then push it down around the stud. For threaded holes, just thread the bolt in a few turns before you lay the carpet and follow the same process. Minor trimming around the perimeter and around console & shifter openings will be necessary, but is very easy with a razor blade. By having the carpet a tad oversized, it insures that you'll be able to get a better fit.
Prices for all trucks and blazers should be on my website that is linked in my first post. Here's the link again: http://www.iroczone.com/jim/carpet/TruckGP.htm If you can't find your vehicle on that list, please PM me and I'll get you your price. Thanks. Re: Carpet Group Purchase
On the price list for a Blazer, when it lists "complete" is that referring to the floor area, or does that include rear side panels and/or kick panels? thanks

Re: Carpet Group Purchase
That's the floor area. The blazer carpet is available for just the passenger area, or for the entire floor.

Re: Carpet Group Purchase
Jim,
Does the carpet come with any jute padding? I see the carpet is on some sort of plastic backing and was wondering about the warranty as well. Thanks |

Re: Carpet Group Purchase
The carpet comes with jute padding. A "mass backing" which is basically the OEM rubber style is also available, though most people don't bother because it's heavy, and really offers very little benefit for the additional cost (around $60 extra).
Warranty is 90 days. Thanks --Jim |

Re: Carpet Group Purchase
Count me in.
72 Blazer 4WD (high hump) 100% Nylon Olive Green Full Set 4 Piece Floor Mats Does the full set include the carpet over the wheel humps? Do the edges have the factory style vinyl binding? Can the embroidery be done in the same color as the carpet? I would like color swatches before my final decision on color. I'll PM you.

Re: Carpet Group Purchase
PM's answered.
I was going to close this by midnight tonight, but since I'm going to be out of town all weekend, we'll keep it open until Monday at 5:00 PM Eastern. I've got a couple questions I need to ask the manufacturer about the large vs. small transmission hump, as well as a few questions that various individuals asked. I want to make sure I have good, accurate answers before I ask for anybody's money. Right now the plan is to close this up on Monday, and give 1 week from then for payments to arrive. Paypal will be the easiest and fastest, but I can also take money orders. Due to the time involved, I can't take a check because it may not have time to clear before I place the order. Monday night or Tuesday I'll post the list of final participants with their balance due, as well as final answers to various questions. Thanks --Jim |

Re: Carpet Group Purchase
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
I called the manufacturer to clear up a couple details. Some of these may impact your decision to buy, so please read! 1. The carpet for the 67-72s is modeled off a 4wd floor pan, which I believe is the "big" transmission hump. On the small hump trucks, it should still fit, but because I'm not an expert with that generation truck, I really can't say for sure what problems you may have. I've had some fairly poor fitting carpet in the past (when I sold ACC), and I found that once it's all installed, you really can't tell that it wasn't a perfect fit, but without having installed these into this generation truck, I really can't say for sure what it'll be. Remember that once you buy it, you own it (no refunds on custom made carpets). If some of you guys with the 2wd trucks don't want to commit to the carpet, I completely understand. For those of you who do not wish to buy the carpet, please PM me to tell me so, or let me know when I send you a PM with your total balance due. My apologies for any inconveniences this might cause. 2. The "complete" blazer carpet includes the pieces that go over the rear wheel humps. Gazoo, They don't have custom cut kick panel carpet, but they do sell bulk carpet that you can cut to fit. The bulk carpet is relatively inexpensive, around $18/foot. Shipping will be $20 for "smaller" carpet sets including all trucks, and $25 for all "larger" sets, like the complete Blazer sets. USPS is probably available, but is typically more expensive for packages this size. |

Re: Carpet Group Purchase
I may pass on this as well, depending on what members here say about possible issues with a low hump.
