I have American Racing Torq Thrust II's. they are 17X8 in front and 17X9.5 in back. They have 4" backspace in front and 5.5 in the rear so there is 4" dish all around. The tires are 255/50/17 Bridgestone Potenza RE730's all the way around. The tires are 27" tall. Look sweet is all I can say. My truck has a 3" drop up front and the truck sits perfectly level now (in the pics the rear is down a tad)

I will have more pics of them coming soon.

I have the classic industries 4/5 drop. Went with 17x8 front,17x9.5 rear. 4.5 b/s front and 5.0 b/s rear. 255 tires on front and 275's on the back. I got a little less than a half inch clearance in the back (inner fender to tire).

Hey guys,
I wanna get some 17's for my 67. Are you guys running 5 or 6 lugs? I have 6 lugs and have noticed many more rims available in the 5 lug pattern. Sweet trucks by the way!
Thanks..........Lumpy

I'm running 17x8 /4.5"bs 255-50 (27" dia.)in front and 17x9 /4.5"bs 275-50 (28" dia.)in rear. I could use another .5" bs in front, but I'm good in the rear w/ about .75" between tire and fender well.

Lumpy, don't convert just to get 5-lugs; there are more good looking 6-lug wheels than ever before. I like the six spoke torq-thrust IIs.

hey belogna, why do you say that you could use .5 more b/s on your front rims ? Will that make your rim stick out or in. Any rubing problems?

.5" more bs would give me a total of 5" and move my rim in under my fender a little more. If I hit a good size bump, especially with the wheels turned, my tires rub the outside edge of my fenderwells. I really wanted 245 width tires for the front instead of the 255s , but they were a lot more expensive or rare, I don't remember now. I got my wheels/ tires from Discount Tire.
