'96 350 vortech into a 87 chev 4x4

Have a line on a 350 Vortech out of a 96 pickup, how tuff would it be to put this into my 87 4x4 1/2 ton that has no lockup or overdrive trans? (TBI)

GM makes a TBI intake that fits Vortec heads. There may be some difficulty if you have EGR, but I think you just have to buy one exhaust manifold.

From what I was looking at, you may be abe to just use the '96 manifolds to rin the tube to the EGR. Or, if you don't have to use it for emissions in your state, just block it off.

It would be easy. Get the intake and drop it in.

Couldnt you notch the center two boltholes like you do to put a carburated intake onto tbi vortech heads?

There are no center bolts on vortec heads.
