Seat Belts for sale

Set of dark green belts out of the 71. Finally got the shoulder belts working right.

One retractor works fine, the other one does not retract. A little rust, but decent shape otherwise. $40 plus shipping.

Re: Seat Belts for sale

Pretty sure it's out a Blazer, so it would not have a middle belt since most, if not all Blazers came with buckets.

Re: Seat Belts for sale

These are out of a pickup. My 71 Cheyenne. I don't think I ever had a center lap belt, but can't remember for sure. Don't have one now anyway. Special-K, thats fine. Paypal is jeffrey.swanson@stennis.navy.mil

Blazer retractors are shaped little different. Theres no long part on the retractor for one side. Not sure which. Thanks, Jeff.

Re: Seat Belts for sale

No, I pretty much covered everything in Gray vinyl after I painted it. The headliner and door panels are all covered. Even the arm rests! Should have just bought some, but you know how cheap is! If I find anything, I'll let you know. Jeff.

Re: Seat Belts for sale

red71cheyenne,
Can you give me any pointers on changing to shoulder belts for my truck? Any links, installation tips, etc. would be appreciated.
Thanks, Charlie

Re: Seat Belts for sale

Sold to Special K, Thanks!

Charlie the best thing I can tell you is don't buy belts off of ebay! Get some from Juliano's or some factory ones from one of the board vendors. If you already have some, what I did was mount them vertically on the floor(the retractors). I also removed the gravity locking ball from them first. This kept them from locking up if not mounted perfectly level(good luck). They will still lock if you pull on them hard and fast like they should. The upper mounts are pretty easy and self explanatory. My belts came with the proper bolts to go in the holes. For the floor ends, I had to cut part of the plastic covers off to get them the right length at the seat edges and just bolted them in using the factory locations. If I've missed anything let me know, and I'll try to answer it. The belts I have that are crap are Autoloc's by the way. Jeff.
