'66 c-10 I wanna bag...

Hey everyone, I don't really post much on here but I have a question about my 1966 c-10 fleetside. Future project... I have a stock rolling chassis, and want to know what the best way to get as low to the ground on frame as possible.
It has a two trailing arms and a panhard bar.

I really want to build an entire frame setup to lay out all the way.

Anyway just looking for tips to a new guy on baggin my 66,

I have a custom 94 Impala on 22's also, under some construction at the moment.

Thanks

You won't lay in the rear with bags in the stock location without Z'ing the frame and a big notch.

The front, I believe, will accept the later model front crossmember. 1" notch, 3" spindles, bags -You're on the ground.

Over simplified, I know but there's a lot of info here if you search around a little.

I think you can lay in the back with trailing arms, just not in the stock location. But you will need blocks. In the front you will need to Z the frame. I Zd mine 3 inches but Im not finished yet. It should lay easily on 22s.

Re: '66 c-10 I wanna bag...

ROCKER:
2.5" drop spindles
2" drop lowers
3" Z
12" notch
3" blocks
bags on top of rearend
shorter body mounts it will kill the pinch's.
super track bar

DOOR:
same as above with 4 3/4" bodydrop
plus moved the trailing arms in and put bags in front of the notch on bars.
to lay on 22"s also added new tube uppers and lowers up front.

Is there any way to 4 link it?

Im new to this and want a nice low setup. Im not against buying a setup..

Where can I get the front CA's and other parts for a 66 c10?

How do you build a one off custom frame like ValleyCustoms ? Thats what I really want.

Re: '66 c-10 I wanna bag...

You can lay out on stock trailing and WITHOUT Zing your frame!!! Here are pics of my 63 suburban that lays out on stock crossmember with custom A-arms, stock trailing arms!!!!
I would recommend 4 linking it though....will make your life alot easier. Also you won't have to do a long notch to clear your trailing arms.
