Coolant Temp Switch

I am looking for a screw in or threaded OEM style temp switch to control a cooling fan and or dummy light, with most newer cars having electric fans their should be plenty to pick from? I rather stick with something OEM than after market, I have seen plenty of clamp on type stuff but rather have something that screws into the head or manifold.

Thanks

Re: Coolant Temp Switch

If I remember right a mid to late 80's dodge minivan had a nice grounding switch that will screw right in. I cant remember if it was a 4 or 6 cyl van though. I used one for an electric fan on a chevelle & Im pretty sure it was 190 degrees, worked great...

Hi
Thanks for the link, I am still looking for a OEM or a OEM replacement, I need the part numbers, you know as well as I do that Moroso paid 3 bux for that thermo switch and 1.50 for the switch, I want to by pass the 25.00 middle man and pick mine up locally, something I can get at any NAPA would be great then if it fails when I am on the road I can get a replacement almost any place...

Anybody else?

Vettes use electric fans?
