Re: Do I dare ask how much you have spent?
LOL LOL...money...don't keep track of it, takes the fun out of it..
one I paid $1500 for one $600 and one $1225. The 600 one was a sacraficial lamb..parted out. 1225 is a project in waiting. the 1500 one different story 2600 in motor 600 tranny 300 exhaust 700 suspension 400 misc body parts 93 consol 1000 hours or so of work and I still haven't gotten it ready to paint.. But I have extra parts...so when I get ready to try to get back some, I'll go on the market..not sure what I can get for things like vent windows etc..but the 600 one came with a 383 stroker in it that runs... and 14.5 by 35 tires and rims...its all just money..and I haven;'t seen a Brinks truck following a Hearse yet...I am spending my kids inheritance... |

I paid $4500 for the Jimmy. I put about $10,000 in parts and paint.
Also about three years of weekends, to get it the way I wanted it. Just a couple more Things I want to do. |

Re: Do I dare ask how much you have spent?
I dont know how I have missed this thread, especially with all of my "idols" being here. Here is my story:
purchase 3500 soft top 650 tires and rims 1000 14 bolt with disc setup 400 d60 900 body panels and etc... 400 ish? auto meter gauges 250 engine upgrades 600 I figure I have roughly 10k in mine at thise point. I tried to keep up with receipts, but then my wife started complaining about how much I spent. I just try to use the memory method now. Ill be glad when its driveable.
