Headlights not working
Hi Folks,
My 86 GMC has a problem with the headlights no longer working. It all started off as being intermittent. Can anyone point me in the right direction to a schematic before I start in on the trial error routine? Thanks, Orm

Re: Headlights not working
A Helms shop manual will have the schematics for the wiring. They'll sometimes have discounts for some manuals that aren't reprints. In lieu of that, try Autozone's online wiring diagrams. Sounds like it could be a bad ground, loose wire or the headlight switch. A VOM would help pinpoint the problem. Good luck.

Re: Headlights not working
sounds like a ground or short, check the wires that touch metal (6 inches behind bulb) always prone to rubbing over time and short themself out on the body...
