Rubberized Undercoat Removal
What is the best way to strip Rubberized Undercoat off a frame? I tried to use some heavy duty aircraft stripper but, it is wicked messy. Would sandblasting work?

Re: Rubberized Undercoat Removal
Let some paint thinner soak on it, that will loosen it up. Probably gas will peel it off.

Heat gun & scrapers.
When you get most off you can clean it up with solvent (gas explodes!) or sand blasting. |

Kerosene - thats the magic stuff, leave it soak and melt that stuff right off !!! Diesel fuel should work to but smells a little worse.

Re: Rubberized Undercoat Removal
I scraped what I could off with a putty knife then scrubbed the rest off with a ScotchBrite pad frequently dipped in a bucket of mineral spirits. Wear gloves
