Wow! That's a great price for what looks like a high quality emblem! The best part is... no more searching salvage yards for broken flaking emblems.

Re: 67-72 Suburban/Panel "CHEVROLET" Door/Liftgate Emblem
GMCPaul, just curious if the emblem has been test fit in a Burb with factory hole locations. Reason I ask is the last time I found one a few years back the pins didn't line up properly, and I ended up returning it.

The studs fit the factory holes perfectly. I just tried it on a 68 panel. They are new reproductions that were just released.
Haven't heard anything on the GMC emblem. Les

Re: 67-72 Suburban/Panel "CHEVROLET" Door/Liftgate Emblem
I have a GMC one I bought since they are rare and I`ve had my eye on a`72 to buy.Prolly never happen, though.I paid a good bit more than that and it should get re-chromed.It makes for an expensive emblem, but as of yet,it`s rare,so....

Re: 67-72 Suburban/Panel "CHEVROLET" Door/Liftgate Emblem
I just ordered mine...hope I was quick enough to one of these two in stock! My wife is very excited... her Suburban body has been on the rotisserie for about two months and should get its first coat of primer/surfacer this weekend. Hope to have it painted by November 1. Now if I can just find a mint, totally complete rear A/C set up for cheap.....HAHAHAHAHA!

Re: 67-72 Suburban/Panel "CHEVROLET" Door/Liftgate Emblem
Received my brand new shiny tailgate emblem today. Its beautiful! The $35.00 price is a steal. I cannot vouch for how well it fits the factory holes since someone had welded up the holes in my tailgate. My drilled holes were a little bit off,but looking through the inside access holes my drilled holes are all off the weld marks the same distance and direction.(I gave it my best effort but ended up off about 1/8 inch high....bummer!) It looks to me like these emblems should fit very well.
