Frame notch / flip kit question

Right now the back of my 82 is lowered a few inches with a shackle/ hanger combo, and i have to take care of some other things before i can bag the rear, so im just gonna flip it to get rid of the crazy rake ive got going on. Anyways , i have 6 inches of clearance between the rear end and the frame, if i flip the rear can i get away with a c notch or will i need to weld in some real notches? It is my only vehicle so its hard to get anything done when i have to drive it the next day. thanks

Re: Frame notch / flip kit question

C-notches will work fine. I have a flip kit & BellTech 2" dropped shackles & don't have a c-notch @ all (3yrs now). It bottoms out but is drivable as it sits now (not enjoyable, but drivable).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
