New seat and door panels
Ive had my seat covered for a while, just got my door panels back. Whaddaya think?
It only took the guy about a year and a half.... and his quote was wayyyy lower than what he charged. I wont use him again, but I think it looks pretty nice. One question, this seat is out of an 88 chevy truck with the stock brackets. I put it in the cab and it seemed a little high, I wasnt sure if I liked it higher or not. Anybody else used this same setup leave it the same height or lower the seat? ![]() ![]()

Re: New seat and door panels
Where's the holes for the window and door handles? Are you going to have any armrests?
Looks like he did a good job to me... now get that stuff installed in the truck! I used to have one of these in my truck, and it was lower than the stock bench seat. I put my mounts flat on the floor,

Re: New seat and door panels
The holes are there in the stock metal door panels. I just have to cut an 'X' in the holes from the back. I cut holes in the metal for my power window switches.

Re: New seat and door panels
My early 90's truck seat sits perfect in my truck. It's a 60/40 and I had to block the left mount on the 60% side of the truck to even it up with the other mounts, but it sits perfect in there. IMO
BTW, thanks again Brad! ![]()

Re: New seat and door panels
i have the same seat. mine is in the factory holes in front and i just drilled and bolted the rear. it's not to high for me especially since it will go back farther with the thinner seat back.

Re: New seat and door panels
That looks great! I would like to have my seat recovered because it's red and nothing on my truck is red. I will end up running a different seat at some point, I'm sure.

Re: New seat and door panels
Thanks guys. I guess I can always put some armrests on later, I guess Ill find out if I really want them after I drive it for awhile. I kinda like the clean look.
