I have ordered my wheels and need to know if you guys think that a275/55/17 will tuck under a 68 stepside fender. It is lowered about 4" in the back. I'm putting this tire on a 17x8 wheel w/ 4.5" bs

I run a 275/40/20 on mine with a 20x9.5 rim and 5" of backspacing, and it clears the fenders just fine. But maybe some stepside guys can chime in mine is a fleet. If you do a search there is a few big discussions on this.

I am running the exact combination you are talking about... 275/50-R17 on 17x8 rims with 4.5" BS. I currently have the rear dropped 6"+ and have no issues with clearance.
