Great Deal on Seats!

Like-new mid-90's Honda or Accord buckets...I hope the truck won't reject them but I love the feel and latteral support for only $100!

Question

Looks good. How hard were they to install?

Not too bad...3/16 x 2.5 inch flat bar across the front mounted into the original holes. 1x1 square bar in back with about 3 inches of the original rear bench bracket welded to the square bar to pick up the rear bench holes. I had to remove the rear mounts off the seat and then bolt them to the square bar. It helps to have a welder, die grinder and taps but it looks exceptionally clean and I didn't have to put any additional holes in the floor. Going to put a ratchet shifter and custom console between the seats so needed the extra space.

Local Honda/Accord wrecker has a big sale going on so I couldn't pass them up. Will recover in tan leather when I repaint the truck. I saw the same seats in '67 and loved them. No stock restortations here...LOL!

Hey, those look good. I'd like to do something like that if I ever find a deal like that. I've heard the honda seats are a good fit. Do you feel like you're sitting too low?

I'm 5-9 and my son is 6-0 and we both love them...not too low at all. The original bench in the truck felt a little awkward and these feel great...just the right amount of lean. They are a Recarro style seat which I really like. My wife prefers a wider and flatter bench style of bucket...but who cares...she ain't riding in this one anyway. She drove it once and claimed it was too fast and the suspension was too stiff...LMAO...I say it is just perfect!

LOL That's great! My wife won't ride in my truck either. I can't wait to find a deal like yours. Guess I'll keep holding out!
