What does the "T" mean

OK guys, this may be a silly and ignorant question, but what does the "T" at the beginning of a V.i.n indicate?

Re: What does the "T" mean

T means GMC, C means Chevy. This was used in '72 only.

Re: What does the "T" mean

heck no! This is a different vehicle I picked up out of somebody's back 40. It had a gmc grille and rad support, but you can't trust front clips on these trucks. I already have a 68 chevy front clip for it. No offense GMC fans, but I just can't get into the 4 headlite thing. I will be blazer72 FOREVER! LOL
