How can you be pissed if its FREE ???

I don't have a problem with it, now if I was paying them for extra storage or something, that would be a different story.

Well they do deserve a finger wag for not running incremental system backups. I get the feeling that "new management" means the old web master and sys admin got his a$$ fired!

Yeah, I put a little note in their forum about that stuff. They at least need to know that it's anoying.

Yes it is free now, but that'll change one of these days. They're not doing this for fun, you know. We represent their core customer base they'll want to keep later on.

You all should have paid the 20 bucks for photopoint then have them say they want 20 more bucks for all you pictures on a cd. I emailed and asked why I had to pay again just to get my pics back and they said they were a third party. Now how the hell does a third party have access to my pics and I don't?

Exclamation

Read the agreements that these sites have you agree to. Once you upload your pics to these sites they are no longer yours. They are considered property of whoever is managing the site.

Then, they can sell your pictures to anyone they want. You suddenly become a consumer of your own pictures (forced to buy only a copy of your own pictures). That's why you don't upload anything you'd be afraid of getting stolen like pictures of personal art, or pictures of people.

I havn't had any problems with www.printroom.com yet. (I stress the yet) When they want money from me I will move to another site, but for now it is a good place to load pictures and be able to post them on message boards. I keep all my pictures backed up on my computer though, just in case. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
