brake lines 7? K20 and proportioning valve
Hi guys! Are brake lines generally single flare (on my truck?). I cleaned up a decent frame and painted it black, redoing my truck on the "new" frame. I can't remember which lines go where on the proportioning valve either, although I think I can guess by the different thread sizes on it. Wait until I start on the EFI fuel lines. I am officially intimidated by that project, especially since my truck had dual tanks, and now I'm just running one. Plus, I am reusing my sending unit and pump (etc.) since I can't waste the money on new right now, and the better of the two (usable) is for the other side, so the pipes are pointing to the outside of the truck. I am planning on looping the fuel lines around, is that okay? Thanks very much for any help you can provide!!
Jeff

Re: brake lines 7? K20 and proportioning valve
thanks guys! Great information. I have mine facing the other way (rear output to the passenger side). It doesn't look very level the other way...? Is there a difference in positioning for 2wd/4wd or different years? Thanks very much!!

Re: brake lines 7? K20 and proportioning valve
It can only go on one way (for both 2wd and 4wd), it should look like mine in the pic above.
marvxyz1 pic is just upside down, that's all.

Re: brake lines 7? K20 and proportioning valve
Hi Jeff, thanks for the reply. I have mine in backwards and upside down. When I put it in the other way, it seemed to slope down on one side. I ruined one of them, and found another on my shelf, from god knows what... but definitely a 73-87 Chevy truck thanks very much for the info, I'll get it right.
