Thats the third door it's had ....

Thats what the owner of a 1977 Chevrolet Silverado told me tonight . I went to look at a truck advertised in the local paper tonight . It was two toned but had a yellow driver door . It was neat talking to the original owner . The truck was totally beaten and he told me it probably has about 500,000 miles . When I opened the driver door it almost fell off . He says " thats the third door its had on it since it was new ". He said the truck treated him right for 30 years and wouldnt crank during the last freeze so he bought a new car . I just thought it was neat to hear his story about the truck . It has absolutely no useable parts but the original radio worked great . Frank

Re: Thats the third door it's had ....

No Sir I didnt . It was in the paper for $695 . When I called and found out he was the original owner , I thought it might be in fair condition so I went and looked at it . The truck had given everything to the original owner and believe me there is nothing left . Frank
