Sweet!
well, after a long time, its finally driveable. took the truck on its first night out tonight. went to the movies and then down to moore and back and it didnt have any problems at all! no more coolant leaking from the expansion tank! no more spongy brakes! no more freaked out temp gauge! it all did great.
oh, and while driving the temp never went above 185* . in the drive through at what a burger, it got up to 205* and the electric fans kicked on and brought it back down to 180* |

Re: Sweet!
It's a great feeling when your truck is down for so long and you finally get it back on the road. I've been down that path 3 times now, and I cant wait to get mine out this week.
Take some pics! |

and an update on the cooling system, the new gauge is still dead accurate. driving around the temp never goes above 180 and when sitting idle for a long time, the electric fans come on at 200 and bring it right back down to 180 |
