rockers and cab corners
First I tried searching faq and didn't come up with anything on "rocker" I know that can't be true, must be doing something wrong. Anyway, about to order some. Is there any place in particular better or all the parts about the same? And any real big difference, besides price on NOS and after market?

Re: rockers and cab corners
I'd check with site vendors, they will give us the best deal, and the best parts, or so I've heard.

Here's a list:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/links/browselinks.php?c=2 As for rockers - Goodmark is what I always hear everyone plugging all the time. Meanwhile - www.ebfabman.com - ebfabman is a board member, he put out a great instructional video giving you all the ins-and-outs of the "surgery" if you aren't familiar with it.

Re: rockers and cab corners
Thanks for the list. I am taking a small auto body class, but only 1 night for 3 hours, trying to learn something but not a whole lot so far. I did see that video, I may have to check that out. My biggest problem is not place to work on it.

Re: rockers and cab corners
If you are in a small auto body class (at a vocational/technical school?) you might try to bring the truck in to work on it there - class project, etc. I know a lot of local schools will work on your vehicle if you supply all of the parts...if you're a student, I would talk to your teacher about this. I would not be surprised that your teacher would let you work on it there.

Re: rockers and cab corners
Yeah shifty, we can work on stuff but it is only an 8 week 3 hour class one night and we can't leave stuff there as there is school during the day. So it is kind of hard to do anything big, especially with no garage at home. I do have a fender I am working on to put on the truck and one other guy has a cab like mine he is bringing in on a trailer so I am learning from that also.
