It's tough to beat Early Classic.

CPP has some available as do the board vendors, I do not know what brand they carry.

Re: whos got the best drop spindles

I give GMC Pauls kit a +1 for not having to change out everything. I know the ECE kit is nice too, but I didn't want to deal with what year what goes with what.

I ask for '69 parts, and they work.

Re: whos got the best drop spindles

DJM 230 plus 10 bucks to ship from summit. Same price as ECE but I dont kow how much they charge to ship?? Youd have to change your ball joints, but I think its worth it for the full 3" drop instead of 2.5". I dont know about ECE spidles but DJM does NOT push your wheels out unlike some others...

I second Mcgaughy's, you don't have to change any parts with theirs. They also have a good price on a front disc brake package.

Re: whos got the best drop spindles

If you have any questions about their products, just give their number a call. They were very helpful when I talked to them.

Re: whos got the best drop spindles

I also have Mcgaughey's but had to trim the top pad of the spindles with a grinder to clear the radius of the upper control arms and also had to trim the bottom of the spindles to clear my wheel weights. If you are planning to run dust shields you have to drill the holes because they are not pre-drilled.

The ECE one's are drilled and tapped and go right on no problems, no parts changing.

Re: whos got the best drop spindles

I think you will like them. Powell72 and I just bolted a set onto my truck(well, frame, not a truck so much as a pile of parts) tonight. Not a single glitch, excellent quality.
