700 R4 fluid level
My son has a 700 R4 auto in his pickup. He has been told that it has the wrong dipstick in it. We haven't been able to find a correct one for it.
I would like to remove the pan and mark the existing dipstick for the correct level. What is the correct level for fluid in the pan? Am I on the right track here? Is there a better way to mark the dipstick to get a correct level? Lee

Pan level should be correct.

Re: 700 R4 fluid level
Are you saying level with where the pan bolts to the case? Seems like it might be slightly lower, but I don't know.
