Re: 6 cylinder block mounts

Hi Tim,

Will it fit the right (passenger) side on a 250? if it does, and if you haven't sold it yet, I would surely be interested as I only need one.

Shipping would be to zip 13068, if that changes your price any; could pay with a postal MO. PM me with details.

thanks!

Re: 6 cylinder block mounts

FYI Tim, if you're not sure which one you have, the top of the driver's side mount is 4 1/2" long and the passenger side mount is 2 1/4" long... The driver's side is on the right in the pic.

Re: 6 cylinder block mounts

Yep, looks like it will fit. I guess the 292 used the taller ones on both sides; that's what my truck came with originally but someone swapped in a '75 250 at some point and just kinda tack-welded the frame tower and the newer (longitudinally through-bolted) engine tower together on the passenger side; re-used the old one on the drivers' side. Of course they've since vibrated apart, and the engine is angled a little on its long axis...makes the clutch linkage bind a hair, increases stress on the other mounts, and probably will wear out U-joints faster.

SO, long story short, yes, Tim, I would be interested. Thanks!
