looking for a part for tailgate
i have a 68 burban with a tailgate style i need to find the bolt for the tailgate thingy dont know what it is call here it is and could i use a regular tailgate bolt and where could i get one

Tailgate swivel bolt or shoulder bolt...try LMC or truckandcarshop.com. You could always make one using a standard bolt and piece of steel tubing. I'm a minimalist at heart...LOL!
Ooops...looks like you lost a part inside your gate. I would weld a nut into that hole flush with the outer surface. Looking at your other side it might be easier to weld the nut to the backside of a big flat washer and then weld the washer to your gate so they will look the same.
