Re: What shocks are you using. (Dropped)
I'm surprised at how hard it is to come up with compressed/extended information on shocks for custom applications. For my GMC I went to Jegs to get a pair of rear shocks after I bagged it. Didn't think it would be a problem since they carry Bell Tech shocks and components. Only problem is that their shocks are based on what you originally had and how much you dropped it, so if you don't know what you have to begin with or have a strange vehicle you are modifying, they can't help you out.
I ended up going to Pep Boys, of all places, and spending a half hour with their Monroe book, which has a section that lists the travel, min and max dimensions, and the type of ends on every shock part number. I found exactly what I was looking for, and the parts counter guy ACTUALLY GAVE ME AN EXTRA BOOK that he had so I could use it for future reference. Needless to say, all my future shock purchases will be from Pep Boys.

Re: What shocks are you using. (Dropped)
I just checked mine after I just got it out of winter storage. They are S/T Spring Tech brand, bought them off ebay $109 for all 4 I think it was. About 2 years ago. work great. 3" drop spindles in the front, and 1 round of coil cut. Plus, 2" drop shackles, and 2 leaves removed from the rear. Although, the rear rides a little rough, not because of the shocks though.

Re: What shocks are you using. (Dropped)
Did a 3/4 using a DJM kit. And swapped the control arms out. Got the shocks in this week so we'll see on how the ride is.
