Seat recovered.
I wanted to keep it looking as close to original as possible. The lady that ran the upholstery shop spent a good bit of time going through her sample books with me, and I think she did a pretty good job of matching. The cloth came out of a late model toyota, but as she noticed the design looks like little bowties (check out the closeup in the 3rd pic). Overall I'm very pleased with the job she did. If anyone on the west side of Atlanta is looking for upholstery work, pm me for info. I would strongly recommend this place. Now I just gotta get to work and finish the interior so I can put the seat back in!

Re: Seat recovered.
Looks real nice, I'd like to get mine done the same way, if I ever get my truck that far along.

Hmmm. I can't see the pictures. Maybe you loaded them from a URL and I have that method blocked?

Re: Seat recovered.
Wow! That looks great. I wish we had a shop in the Austin area that did that kind of work.

As far as upholstery shops in Austin, one of the best (that I have seen) upholstery shops in the States is there. Fat Lucky's at South Austin Speed Shop. Ive seen lots of pictures of his custom work and its incredible...I have no idea on pricing or even being able to get your ride in on his schedule. Last edited by CG; 05-25-2007 at 09:42 AM. |

Re: Seat recovered.
Looks great .... send some pictures of it installed. Even the pattern match of the cloth is matched perfect. Sign of a guy that cares about his work. Great job.
esll.

Re: Seat recovered.
Finally was able to see the pictures. Very nice, and like everyone else said, post a picture after it is in.
