Re: Homebuilt "C"notch kit.?.?.?.
I haven't posted any prices on here, just images with some tech advise and suggestions. ( must have been as soon as I added more then my name to a post ) We don't have a problem becoming a member and helping support those who are supporting us. For now I'm just going to play it safe until we get things paid for and taken care of. That way nobody else get their toes accidentially stepped on, or undies in a bunch.

Re: Homebuilt "C"notch kit.?.?.?.
Cool,
Just in case no one else says it, thanks for supporting the site. If I had the available I would buy a kit in a heartbeat, BUT, as my screenname states I don't have much money but will get the results I'm lookin for. If the truck won't hold the road the way I want it to, It is just a big "Boatanchor" to me.(Don't worry, it WILL hold the road) Can't remember if I posted pics of my truck on this site or not..... |

Re: Homebuilt "C"notch kit.?.?.?.
Thank for all the replys from everyone. I'm just going to go to HF and get some cut off wheels for my angle grinder and do it myself. That way, the work will be done the way I want it and I still know where the six pack is too. No welding required on this kit at all. It is going to be a complete bolt in and torqued down before the frame is cut any.
I hope that is a good plan and hope that I have it all figured out right. Again, thanks for all the input. |

I now have it down to a more managable size. This may take a while to complete...

Still nowhere close to being done yet. |

Mr79C10,
You are absolutely right, but you gotta do what you gotta when money is tight and times are hard... I just got a few new bits last night and I might be able to do some nice finishing on these pieces after all is said and done. Biggest thing holdin me back is time...... |

Yea man, I hear ya, I keep hearing on here about a place called GMC Pauls,, or Wester Chassis too. I check thier web site and they have a real nice bolt in C-Notch for less then $100.00 duckies. Thats what Im gonna go with. I think "SCOTI" has a pic of them some lace on here.

Re: Homebuilt "C"notch kit.?.?.?.
looks great ,but dude you are going to have to get someone to shear those or find someone with a plasma cutter. that had to take forever with a grinder not to mention the tingling in your joints after you were done.
