performer rpm help please

does anybody else run a perf. rpm intake, and if so do you have a noticable amount of play side to side with the hold down undone? i find a bushing and shim kit at both jegs and summit(both mr. gasket parts) but they both say its for excessivly milled heads and/or deck. my heads and deck are milled but i dont think too much, just worried the bushing might raise the dizzy too high. anybody run into this before?
