Re: AFR Angle Plugs '77 4x4 and Headers... What's the answer

Oh yeah, some comp pro-mag rockers, chromoly pushrods, a 4 hole carb spacer (to get clearance for a fitting for the trans vacuum modulator), a whacky oil pan with a kickout, stage 8 header bolts with locks (heat cycled and re-torqued 3 times before locks installed), and a sheath on the number 5 wire so I could run the wires straight up.

Another oh yeah: The headers just barely touch the spring shackles at the collectors. A hammer helped it clear by just a little.

The professional products intake is a gem. It matched the 1205 gasket perfectly. The trans vacuum modulator fitting location is not conducive to a holley though - thus the 4 hole spacer. Has a rear water crossover as well - should help keep'r cool, and keep the fuel atomized well - with help from the exhaust crossover. Kit came with intake gaskets and bolts, and plugs. Used The Right Stuff on the china wall. But, there's a very slight coolant leak when warm at a front corner - musta been too shy with the right stuff in that area.
