installing cab corner moulding?
My cab corner moulding (6) has disappeard! I can only assume that it flew off going down the road... Anyway, going to get another one, but not from LMC! They want 119$ for just one! I have a buddy that has a few part trucks and see if he has any laying around. I was going to get another mounting bracket (8) from LMC cause its only $5 and I think mine is broke (thus it flyin off!). Finally, here's the question. How do you get the corner piece on? I looked at the bracket and don't understand how it goes on. I know it slides into the mouling on the back of the cab, but how does the mounting bracket work? Thanks.

Re: intalling cab corner moulding?
Look inside the cab on that corner. Chances are there's a spot that a couple of nuts attach from the clip there.

Re: installing cab corner moulding?
ill have to take mine apart but like prong said most likly it slide onto the back one then get screwed down on the side. It should sslide into the corner molding have a thread part sticking off and have a nut that screw down onto it. Just like the rear corner molding does on the bed.
Actually if you look at 8 it shws a small rod with a nut at the end of it.

Re: installing cab corner moulding?
there is a nut inside the cab corner. take that off, and the corner molding will pull loose. I think there is two different designs for that cab trim, though.

Re: installing cab corner moulding?
On the one I pulled off recently the mounting bracket had springs(?) on each side. To remove the trim you pushed up on it until the top was clear of the top side of the bracket then just pulled it off the bottom.
Might be different for differnet years though?
