ok as you know i dont have anything to drive at the moment. i was getting ready to buy a 85 K5 4x4 blazer when i came across a 66 chevy C20 for $600 thats almost completely restored. just needs an engine and tranny. i just pulled my engine to replace the cam and lifters and timing set and seals. ill fix my engine and drop it in and drive it and drop a caddy 500 in my other truck sooner or later

. for $600 it looks very clean. 3 month old paint, cobalt blue. new seatc, led lights. looks real good. big back window. only thing is the reason its cheap is cause no title. but i have an idea for that. i got a 66 C10 vin plate and title and my friend has some rivets that look just like the ones on the trucks. not exactly legal so i might not be back here anytime soon. lol

just hope they dont check the frame vin.

There's a particular place in Lake Worth who didn't check my vin's over too well when I needed a green sheet (from out of state). I was on the up and up, but if you need any help, lemme know. I live very near you.

The never even checked my vin numbers. They just had me use a paper and pencil to trace it and bring it in.

I never had my VIN's checked when I lived in Nevada, but here in New Mexico all they checked was the VIN plate in the door jamb.

well the guy was a little weird. i think its stolen. i asked how the interior was and he said it dident have one. it said on the ad it was in good shape, he said real smarty "well if you knew anything about these trucks you would know its just a dash and a seat, and maybe carpet". so i said "ok then, hows the damn dash and the damn seats and the damn floor, and if you put that "maybe" carpet in?" so he said you really dont want this truck do you, and i said yea, but not if i gotta deal with you. and i hung up. so no truck, but i am buying the 85 K5 4x4 blazer thats in almost perfect condition. it will be my DD.

talking about the truck might be stolen, in Bentonville AR. a few weeks back there was a truck just like that stolen off a used car dealership as far as I know it is still missing and they yet to find it.
