Got a steering wheel question

I want to change my steering wheel. Just doesn't fit the look I am going for. I found the moon eyes site http://www.mooneyesusa.com/and they have some neat stuff.
I'm looking at the white wheel for the truck... opinions comments. They also have other coloured wheels as well.

Re: Got a steering wheel question

I think that white will take away from the "class" that you have built into your ride...............just my .02.........you have a great truck and yellow blends with so many colors........but white?.........not too sure..........it is a matter of personal preference............you are doing it for you..........do what you feel is right..........

Re: Got a steering wheel question

You have lots of black in your interior already, unless you're gonna change that too, the white would look out of place. I have the one with the round holes in the spokes like the one you've pictued, but in blue. I ended up wraping it with black leather. White would show the dirty hand prints easily - which is inevitable - unless you wear white gloves.

How about one of these:

Or maybe a nice wood rimmed wheel?

Thumbs up Re: Got a steering wheel question

I've always looked at Moon Eyes products as old school (nostalgic) items. In your truck (nice ride BTW) but lacks a true old school theme. Billet pedals, dash with current gauges suit your current wheel.

Now if your dash cluster was a machined finish filled with MOON Eye gauges and your pedals were the original or Moon Eye pedals the old wheel would suit your truck more then the wheel you have now. IMHO your current wheel looks the best with your interior. I like your truck I don't think I would change anything.

esll.

Re: Got a steering wheel question

The white goes with the dice and 8 ball shifter also echos your white walls and gauge faces. It was your first choice , go for it, you can always change it later.

Re: Got a steering wheel question

I may be alone on this but I think the white wheel would look nice. I agree that the wheel in there looks out of place but my eye is telling me it's because it is too small. Am I wrong? I think the current one whould look fine if it were just a little bigger around. I still think that the white one would look better though.

Jebbs right the wheel is to small to me too. It's 13" and I'm going to go to at least a 15". I just felt with the white walls,8 ball, dice might lend itself to the white wheel. Also like the spoke type in a black maybe.
Thanks to every one for their comments....

Thanks Cal

My favorite is the little sign in the passenger window(below). I get kids laughing at it and some women asking "is that true?". My buddy with his 69 GTO Judge actually had a girl ask about the sign then said "is it ok if I just go to my panties and bra?" then proceeded to strip down and climb in so her boyfriend could take a picture.
