PIC of rearview needed please
Anyone have a pic of your rearview mirror. I am torn between a stock one or an aftermarket one. I need a pic of a stock one because mine was replaced with a weird one out of something else. Thank you

Re: PIC of rearview needed please
hey, the first two pics are of the replacement mirror i just got from early classic. It was listed as the standard mirror. i have no idea if it's exactly correct or not, since my dad told me the one that was on the truck (third pic) was replaced by my grandfather years ago.

Re: PIC of rearview needed please
that isn't the original type mirror. That's probably the 66 and older style.

Re: PIC of rearview needed please
well, doesn't that just make you smile when you get the wrong parts. earlyclassic's webpage lists this as the replacement for 60-71 trucks. oh well. it's better than what i had before

Re: PIC of rearview needed please
Wow, they are usually held in such high regards.
Now, the rear view mirror was an option up till 70 when it became standard issue. The dealers quite often sold mirrors as a dealer add on or accesory. I'm sure there were quite a few that got outfitted with this mirror. However, This is a poor illistration of the correct one from the LMC catalog. And for the record, it SUCKS having to make reference with them as to what is RIGHT... considering they have never gotten a snipment right when I used to order things from them. |
