When rebuilding my 250 we couldent get the paint on the intake/exaust manifold to dry so my grandfather put it in the oven to bake the paint on, well apparently there was oil in the exaust manifold and it smoked up the kitchen my grandmother was unhappy

Yeah...just like you aren't supposed to pick up the food you drop and then eat it.
You know we all do it from time to time. Actually, if the oven is cleaned out, i can't imagine the harm. It's not like the paint is on the burner or anyhting...it's just fumes. But you may well be right. |

Wives don't like us doing things like this for some reason, one time I was going to put a new pulley on a powersteering pump, I put the pully in the oven and the pump in the freezer, ( didnt have a press ) it didnt smoke up the house or nothing, but just the thought of me haveing my pump in the freezer and the pully in the oven she was hot! That was the first wife, the one I have now dont care LOL!

Crap a wheel in the oven my wife wouldnt even look twice, took a while for her to be ok with whats in the freezer though.frozen snakes, lizards and rodents, some were ones i had that died, the lizards and rodents are stored for feeding animals.lizards are hard to find when its cold so stockpiling 40 or so for winter is good, and having atleast a few dozen mice and rats, for back up is good.my space in the freezer is reserved for the door only, she dont want a Rat next to the ice cubes i guess, funny late at night snake a ratsicle,or a lizardpop

Heres a small sample,i couldnt fit all in pic but this will give you the idea, you should have seen her face when she came home and i had a dead 5' Rattler coiled up and froze-Ouch i almost got beat with it.Here in the picture is a small portion of foods i keep on hand for certain snakes.upper LH is a frozen Sidewinder Rattler,it was alive when i caught it but its head was squished a little and missing a eyeball(kingsnake food) the Lizard i caught a few days ago,i have about 40 frozen this one i put in my pocket and forgot about when i was collecting them,i missed one when putting in container he was in there for a while with my keys, found him at McDonalds pulling money out, should have seen girls face when i set on counter!!!!its for stubborn eating baby snakes, bottom snakes are ringnecks for my Coral Snakes,Corals ONLY eat other baby or small snakes, then theres a baby corn snake was a pet but died,it will be coral snake food when they come out of hibernation.sorry all the rodent are wrapped in butcher paper and put in large freezer bags.show this to your wives then a car part shouldnt be so bad!!! Looks like i had a leeking Freezer Pop.Yikes i better clean that up or wife will be mad!!!
